While walking near the Plaza De Armas it is common to be approached by people selling different items; coca candies, finger puppets, decorated gourds, and a very fortuitous meeting with a watercolor painter who we gratefully purchased a couple paintings from. While tourists will find many people who want to part them from their money, the woman in this photo is one of only two people who we encountered begging for money.
